Write-up / Notable Events:

A wonderful day for a hike. The two waterfalls flowing into the pit were flowing nicely. Ran into several cavers rappelling into both the pit and the mouth of the cave.  After hiking up the mountain to the site, several of the Sierra Club hikers were "afraid" to walk on down into the dragon's den.  Later we walked on up the dry creek bed to another waterfall that appeared out of a bluff wall and immediately disappeared after hitting the ground.  Supper afterwards on the patio at Tellini's in Huntsville.
